Robert Wyatt formed Matching Mole after leaving Soft Machine. They were named after the French way of saying Soft Machine, 'machine molle.' They only released two albums before Wyatt had his accident which left him a paraplegic. This song is from the self-titled debut from 1971, called "O Caroline":

This song is more typical of how the rest of the album sounds like, "Instant Kitten":

Here's a song from Japanese artist Otomo Yoshide, listed under RIO/Avant. His discography is pretty big but I've only heard the streaming songs here. This is called "Giant Robo" from the 1999 album Plays The Music Of Takeo Yamash*ta (hopefully that last name doesn't get censored):

Solstice is a UK band listed under Neo-Prog. Don't know much about them but I like this song a lot. From their 1984 album Silent Dance, this song is called "Return Of Spring":

Sloche were a Canadian Fusion group whom I never even heard of before I discovered PA. They seem to be a highly rated group here and they deserves to be. They only released two albums in the mid-70s, of which I like the 1975 debut J'un Oeil the most. Here's a song from that album called "C'pas la fin du monde":

This is a great song as well, "Algebrique":

Corte Dei Miracolie are a RPI group from Italy, of course. This song is from their self-titled debut album from 1976. The only song I have heard from them so far, it's called "E verra l'uomo":

^Thanks a lot for those two epics! Maneige are a group I've read about over the years but never actually got around to ever hearing. I have listened to the streaming songs here but they don't give much of a hint as to what these side-long tracks sound like. Great stuff.

Bjorn Lynne is a musician from Norway listed under Progressive Electronic. He has a lot of albums but I've only heard this song, which should appeal to fans of symph prog. From his 2001 album The Gods Awaken this song is called "King Felino And The Slay Ground":

Here's a song from Magma...but not that one. This is a Prog Folk group from Argentina. I was curious to hear what they sounded like, and think this song is good. Originally from the 1982 album Canto para una consagracion, this song is called "Araucaria":

Vauxdvihl were a Progressive Metal band from Australia who only released one album in 1994 called To Dimension Logic. Never heard the album but I like the title track:

Omega are a Hungarian band listed under Psychedelic/Space Rock. They are the most well-known Hungarian band outside of Hungary. I've only heard their streaming songs here but their name keeps popping up in the Top 50 Popular Artists list on the homepage for some reason. Their first album came out in 1968 but I'm posting a song from their 1978 album Csillagok Utjan. I like this song, it's called "Lena":

For the next three days I'm going to do something a little different. I'm going to post vids by three artists who do not have any streaming songs on PA, but I have reviewed their albums. If I felt motivated enough I guess I could upload the songs myself since I own the CDs, but I've never uploaded anything before and I've been so busy with my new job I hardly have time to post reviews anymore.

Today I'm going to showcase the Belgian RIO outfit Univers Zero. They're one of those groups that many have heard of but not actually *heard*. I'm surprised no one has uploaded any of their songs yet. This song is called "Jack The Ripper" from their 1979 album Heresie:

I've so far reviewed both Heresie and the 1986 album Heatwave. You can read both those reviews on the artist page:

This is the side-long epic from Heatwave called "The Funeral Plain":

Today is a Post and/or Math Rock group from Australia named Pivot (or PVT). I added their second album and am the only one to have reviewed either yet:

This is the video for the song "In The Blood" (warning: lots of fake blood)

Here's someone's own review of the album:

Here's another song from the album called "Sweet Memory"

Now here's a few songs by the French Canterbury band Moving Gelatine Plates. Their first two albums I consider some of the best Canterbury ever made. I've only reviewed their first self-titled album so far. Here is the tracks "London Cab/X-25" and "Gelatine":

You can read my review of that album on the artist page:

Although I have yet to review it, I enjoy the second album even more. I might as well post the title track of that album here as well:

Michael Rother is the former guitarist for Kraftwerk/Neu!/Harmonia. This is the only one of his solo songs I have heard yet. From his 1979 album Katzenmusik this is "Katzenmusik 2":

Karaboudjan was a one-off project by Edge Of Sanity member Dan Swano. Only released one EP in 2001 called Sbrodj. Dan Swano may be well known to some metalheads but I personally am not familiar with any of his projects. I really like this song which is great avant-metal..."Den Svarta":

Today the forecast is calling for some Indo-Prog/Raga Rock. Here's a song from Clark Hutchinson, who are either a duo or a group from the UK. This song is called "Improvisation On A Modal Scale" from the 1969 album A=mh2:

Good band. Indeed, it's very obscure.

Thanks for the comment Prog Geo!

Here's a song from American band Gaylord, listed here under Eclectic Prog. I've only heard the two streaming songs on PA from them. From the 2007 album Resplendent Locution this song is called "...Ishtar":

Angipatch is a Symphonic Prog band from France. Not much is known about them. I've only heard this song, the title track to their 1981 album Vie:
