Well, my girl logged to her PA account on my computer and wanted to vote for Genesis, but she couldn't, because it said that she already voted, which she haven't. Because she's using the same IP address as I do (she lacks internet on her own).

So count it +1 to Genesis if you want to.

'f course, she loves Genesis, I love Genesis. Yes I do love as well, but not that much.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

So has this ended? because it's a tie at the moment (109 a piece).

It's basically too close between them for it to be fair for either to win.

Well, that was exciting. To be honest, I would've been happy whatever the outcome. I seriously thought it'd be Yes toward the end, but it's Genesis... so Smile

Interesting indeed. The poll was closed as soon as Genesis took the lead, after being behind Yes for days.

In Finland it was still 19th of september 20 minutes ago... It was a tie back then!

... I'm only joking, you know. I guess I have to wait for Yes to win Genesis in some future poll. LOL

Still, the tournament should have been schedueled in such a way that two such bands as Yes and Genesis didn't match themselves so early, they should have matched up at least one round later.

Hmm, despite the score above finishing at 113 -110 in their favour Yes still managed to lose.

I give the nod to Yes, but only by the slimmest of margins.

Each band has its strong points. It is a shame that one must choose.

I no longer care for this inaccurate battle of the prog bands. For two such closely matched bands, the deciding factor should not be "whoever is winning when the starter can be bothered to close the poll".

Even if Yes had won I would have said this.

Inaccurate???? It's a poll, not a census.

I mean, really, it's a series of polls taken over a week or so.

Ideally, of course, Yes and Genesis wouldn't have had to duke it out early on but then, ideally, VDGG and King Crimson wouldn't have had to duke it out early on. And really, does it matter?

(and can you think of a better way to decide it?)
