I like UCC (I got it in the same time with YNDI HALDA last Autumn, and it hadn't clicked on me...until now!), quite interesting and variable Post-Rock

The Shooting Star's Sigh... is pretty good but the better of the two is The Unbelievable Cinematic Crash.

MOONCAKE have been added (thanks, cham!). On their LastFM page you can find loads of free tracks and videos...unless you're afraid of Russian Post-Rock played by bears on balalaikas

I mean am I the one active in this thread?

I was listening to Oceanic earlier, and I realised that Isis is due an album this year, does anyone know anything? I'm gonna go check their myspace.

If they do make an album this year, lets hope it's better than their last...

I checked out Ovum's "Microcosmos" and Sweek's "The Unbelievable Cinematic Crash" based on recommendations in this thread.Great stuff guys, thanks for the great recommendations and keep them coming!

I was listening to Followed By Ghosts new album "Dear Monsters,Be Patient" earlier today and along with Equus' "Eutheria" album think it's one of the best post rock releases of the year...so far.

On a post metal note..has anybody ever heard of the band Harvey Milk?

Wow, excellent. A new Isis album in news worthy of celebration.

I can understand why some didn't like their last album as much as Panopticon, but i was very happy with it.

Their myspace says their done touring for the summer, and are starting rehearsals for new songs, so we just may see a new album before the year is up!

gotta check FOLLOWED BY GHOSTS. Oh, and I've got two first SILENCE KIT albums from the band, gotta review them soon.

has anyone heard PG.LOST? Check their amazing free track on lastfm, it has blown me away and I've been listening to it on repeat for weeks!!! Now they've released debut "It's Not Me, It's You!" album, which is on the way to me now (officially released in Ukraine and Russia by license)

I have their Yes I Am and didn't blew me away at all. Maybe I have to give it a few more spins or maybe their new album's better. Oh and check out Souls Vibrating In The Universe.

well you miss good bands if you don't and I certainly didn't want to rehash what's already been talked about Big%20smile

Listening to Dirge "Wings of Lead Over Dormant Seas"

And yes, I have Yndi Halda on my get list.  And ordered, Motw's "My Fruit.. " from dark symphonies, guess I'll have to go the eBay route for Bath and LYBM.

You need to visit http://www.aftermathshop.com/oscommerce/.

You'll find all of your MotW albums there.

And, happy listening.  Yndi Halda is great but not the only good thing to discover.
