The 1=Dream Theater actually made me lol. I honestly sometimes enjoy seeing DT bashing sometimes cos it upsets the fanboys. I've never understood fanboyism, since hardly any artist IMO has ever put out gold every recording. |
I think it's because reasons are rarely given. It's usually just "DT sux." Happily, this balances out "ZOMG PETRUCHI IS TEH BEST GITAREST EVARSS FOR SERIAL!!!" I'm listening to them less and less, though to be fair I've been slipping away from prog recently just out of overload (although I plan on going back and knocking several reviews by at least a star). I've found comfort in the many bootlegs of Bruce Springsteen. I gotta say, for a dude who is in no way prog he knows how to tweak arrangements for live performances rather well. I also need the 160 GB iPod classic cause my 80 gig is on it's last 5 gigs. I like how my friends can't even fill nanos and I'm holding out for the 1 Terrabyte iPod.

AP Calc was a breeze for me. My teacher actually told me that I could sleep every single class and still get an A.

You know, if there was any worthwhile job requiring an English major (I think teaching would be fun but at the same time I'd also like to be able to purchase a house without living in debt forever and ever), I'd probably do it cause I'm strong at, but this would require some career in which rampant BS-ing was a criteria, and I have no desire ot be a politician. Eh, engineering is fun enough.

filling iPods? my mp3 player is full of artwork and text files and when I say artwork I mean lozl
there's twenty five minutes of music by myself and that's it. I even ripped it in 320kbps but apparently that still doesn't exactly pack the thing to bursting point

Give me enough money to buy a house in the Alps, a loving wife, and some sort of way to never have to work. That's all I want from life.

I value all three equally.
Also, in a stunning display of awesome, I just ordered a double shirt-whammy of Coltrane and Magma. Praise me.
