I already mentioned Hot Dog, surprised it's not in the list and the poll has some amazing songs, some ok, but none of them bad. |

Yep. I'm surprised some of these songs have votes at all.

I'm surprised someone thought to do a poll of 'worst Zeppelin songs'. Kinky.. for it was a trick question.
It was a trick question you all suckas fell for.... there IS no worst Zeppelin song. |

I had no idea there were so many Led Zep PR people posing as members here.

You have to be out of your mind to include Stairway, In My Time, and Heartbreaker but not include Four Sticks, Hot Dog, and The Crunge. I like all of these songs but will go with Ozone Baby. Plus, D'yer Mak'er is awesome! Why so much hate?

I don't see their song "All Of My Love " in the list. The music is actually not too bad, but Plant's singing makes me cringe and sounds like a parody of something. They were the first band whose entire LP collection I bought. I loved everything, but that song still sticks out!

For me, the worst Zeppelin song is Boogie With Stu. It's not interesting rhythmically, it's not interesting melodically, it's not interesting sonically and it's not interesting lyrically. I think Physical Graffiti would be a better album if Boogie With Stu had been left off it.

Wearing and Tearing because of unfamiliarity, would've gone the same route for Ozone Baby and Candy Store Rock (all of which now have 3 votes for too); all other tracks are great. yes, even D'yer Mak'er i think is great; why is it getting the slack that it doesn't deserve?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'd go for Moby Dick if it was on the list. Bonham was great drummer but unaccompanied drum solos are self indulgent and boring.

That is a rather revisionist attitude, and really not what was going on at the time. Everyone had their drum solos in the late 60s and 70s. It was an integral part of concerts as well, and I think the fans appreciated a damn good solo. I know I did. Watching drummers like Bonham, Phil Collins, Barrie Barlow, Carl Palmer or Bill Bruford jam was often a high point of the concert or an album. Now? Not really a part of the concert or of releases. Now, you get an hour and a half commercial, a $50 concert shirt and a $10 beer. I'll take the drum solos, thanks.

The Candy Store Rock, sounds like a very bad Elvis impersonation pub band with a lead singer and back band, all bad. Led Zeppelin - Candy Store Rock - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5t8hxyqELw
And led zeppelin Somethin' Else arghhhhhhh if you cannot do the likes of Buddy Holly don't do it! Timing all wrong everything, inc. pauses and tempo this is fricking awful led zeppelin Somethin' Else - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmV5lYnBKqE bah |

I don't care what was going on at the time. It is still my least favourite Zep track and was when I first bought the album about 35 yrs ago. Vesta curries used to be really popular also - it's not a revisionist attitude to say they tasted like the contents of a hoover bag. It's just a valid opinion. Drum solos at concerts are one thing but taking up a whole track on an album is another. They are the Vesta curries of recorded music. |

I always thought Stairway to Heaven was second rate. It noodles around for a while, threatens, to go somewhere interesting then gives up (a bit like Virginia Plain).
Can anyone be very kind and tell me why I can never vote in any poll please? |

Candy Store Rock is pretty bad, but at least that's on 'Presence' which is one of my favorite Zep albums. I'll have to go with Dancing Days though, it's one of the many unbearable songs on 'Houses of the Holy'.
