Geeeez Peter, next time you do that, please avoid drinking that case Moosehead beer
![]() ![]() ![]() (apparently this was strong enough that if hadn't had time to dissipate enough and still stink after travelling a quarter of our planet's northern hemisphere).
![]() Either that or some Scots should definitely think about wearing undies under their kilts AND change them once in a while.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

MOOSEHEAD?
![]() ![]() (Okay, the pride of New Brunswick is not that bad, as mass-produced, bland beers go, but I normally opt for finer, tastier and natural craft-brewed beer.)
Back on topic: I'd like to check out that new Pendragon which seems to be being so favourably received, as well. I have enjoyed some Pendragon in the past.

How the hell can a person living in the United States get ahold of Ill Baccio cd and Pendragon's one? I found the latter at about 30 USD! The other one I haven't found, and I'm interested. I'm sure both (as many others in the top-10) are way better than the one that actually won...

You go to this guy (Greg Walker) and order from him: http://www.synphonic.8m.com He has Bacio and Pure as well (though also the CD/DVD for 30$). Also try this list of prog and music online vendors http://www.progarchives.com/ProgRockShopping.asp |

You must be patient or pay a lot of money to get those or any new release of any kind. At least, that's how it works here . . . |

i don't love mp3, just like 'em. But you can use itunes with mp3, you know. . . I usually rip my CDs and then add them to my playlist. |

I don't care so much about that - I used to avoid iTunes* because of the DRM and the low bitrate, but both those have been done away with, so I may start shopping there a bit more. Still, emusic and amazon will probably remain the two big sites I used for downloads. * I mean, purchasing tracks from iTunes. I'm in 100% agreement with Mike that the iTunes interface is horrid, especially on Windows. Fortunately, I'm now free of it. ![]() Edited by NaturalScience - January 14 2009 at 14:20 |

because the itunes play the mp3 like in the CD, without the little pauses between the songs, like winamp and WMP do. |

I'll just never get any Apple product ... it's almost like slavery to me, except that people a) freely submit themselves into it and b) they even feel like they're using superior technology. ![]() |

OK, but the ipod is a great product: easy to use, easy to handle, with an good interface and nice playing system. I have mine for over a year and it never let me down. |

I'm not saying that it's a bad product. I just think it's overpriced, and it doesn't support formats other than it's own proprietary AAC and MP3 (I guess there are ways around that, but AFAIK they're "hacks"). It's a bit different today, but when the iPod came out these limitations were a clever move to fight other download portals ... most of the others used Microsoft's DRM, which is also proprietary but at least wasn't bound to any particular hardware as much as Apple's was. Anyways ... I'm glad that I've been using Creative hardware for many years now, because they're compatible with Napster. I wouldn't trade that flatrate for anything! |
