they haven't got a single bad artwork but i especially like the art in fear of a blank planet and the incident. lasse hoile is one of the best modern artists. watch katatonias day and then the shade video.

Steven (young) really reminds me of Geddy Lee when he was young... a combination of the glasses, the pale skin and the hair.
BTW, my favorite album cover artwork is probably the debut's. I just love how the man/boy is like flying downward.. it's very cool.... and the dark and yellow background is very fantasy-esque.

On sort of a random note-- In regards to American press, Steven has been in two guitar magazines that I own and know of:
1.) A small article about Steven and PT talking about FoaBP and Alex Lifeson's appearance on Anesthetize, which appeared in Guitar World's February 2008 issue with Kirk Hammett on the front cover.
2.) A pretty large interview with Steven appeared in GuitarPlayer's January 2010 issue with Tony Iommi on the front. Steven talked about recording The Incident and his take on playing the guitar, along with the effects he likes to use.
I just thought I'd let you all know about these magazine issues. They're both very good features and if you can find them, I'd say get them for even more inside info. on Steven .

I thought the cover was a little odd, although not bad.
I much prefer the drawing in the center of the booklet of Steve with a guitar, and it also would've fitted onto a CD cover perfectly.
Also, I'd be interested to hear everyone's opinions on Voyage 34... I myself absolutely love part I (in my top 10 PT tracks for sure) although I find it a little strenuous to listen to the entire disc in one sitting.

I was a little put off by Voyage 34 at first... it was one of the first PT pieces of music that I bought. I actually ended up finding it used at a mall about an hour from where Ilive. There are no CD stores in the town where I live, and the closest one (about 40 minutes away) only carries The Incident...
The version I bought was the remastered The Complete Trip compilation with the Lasse Hoile photography that includes Parts 1-4 all remastered. It sounds crystal clear. I didn't like it much at first, but I absolutely love it now.. definitely one of my favorite PT suites as well. I sometimes find it hard to listen to parts 3-4 in their entirety though. So, that's what I think about Voyage 34.

Man I can't wait to see it, my copy should be shipping in 3 days. Hopefully it'll arrive by the weekend, although it's not likely it'll come that fast.
I love the notes about Porcupine Tree on the back of the booklet too
