Floyd aren't overrated they deserve to be so successful, just there's a lot of prog bands out there that don't get the respect they deserve. The Final Cut is the most depressing thing i've ever heard though, but that's because it has so much feeling meaning to it and Waters is a genius even if he is an ass to people.

"Dark side" and "Wish you were here" I'd still give the maximum, the rest of the albums bar a few songs, especially those filled with Waters' misantropy, may collect all the dust of the world.

Ok guys, Anthony doesn't like Waters. I admit that the "paranoid" period of Waters is what I like less in their history, but saying that they are overrated as group is really excessive. I think Atom and More are underrated, instead. Is there anybody else that you think is overrated in the PA top 100?

I have to agree with you on that, though Animals also features some brilliant playing from Gilmour. 
DSOTM and WYWH obviously didn't feature Roger's lead there, and they were much more of a group effort.
Still, all tracks on DSOTM are written or co-written by Waters, except Great Gig and Any Colour (I won't mention Speak To Me, as that's just a gimmick, isn't it?Wink).
Also, because those albums make the most use of Gilmour's talent, that doesn't change Nick's drumming, doesn't it?

Anyway, I'm going to stop here...

And about face is not the best solo album of a PF member. It's more pop than Radio Kaos.

I have spent some time during the holidays with PA forums. The difference between PF and everybody else is that I have seen more than 25 posts in one afternoon (here is late afternoon). Only the post about Vangelis has similar dimensions. I'll quit here, but PF are still the top for me. I started looiking to progressive music after listening to Pink Floyd and ELP about 40 yrs ago. That's where I'm from. If you don't like them, or don't like them anymore, it's not a problem. I don't like Genesis.

As far as I remember, Time and Us & Them are co-credited to Waters only because he wrote the lyrics (for, he wrote the lyrics to all the album), but had just about nothing to do with the music of those songs. So, indeed, it's much of a group effort.

According to the booklet, Money, Brain Damage and Eclipse are creditted to Waters only. In the other songs (with the exception of the ones listed in my earlier post) Waters is listed with some of the other members, I don't know if the order of names does matter here, but Waters' name is often first. But sure, Dark Side and WYWH were much more group efforts, which is also why David wanted to kind of "relive" the mood of WYWH on the Division Bell.
