This a very good boxset where sometimes i had the feeling the music of Fish Period was back, especially in the final DVD where Marillion played their epic songs. I realised that my favorites Marillion Hoggarth's songs are the 10 minutes ans up songs. Clap

Have you gotten the CD's of the shows yet? A must have, too.

Lucy said that the download for the Friday night show will be available shortly. I'd rather have that as a CD, to be honest. Still, it'll be good to have.

Joel, do you like vegemite? A co-worker is from Tasmania and he brought in some of that stuff. FUN-KY!!!!

The boxset arrived yesterday, watched it from start to finish. Absolutely BRILLIANT stuff!
My favourite disc was by far the Sunday night show, the epics are all fantastically presented here. Such an awesome show!

I really have to make my way to one of these conventions, the whole recording is so brilliant.

Welcome to Montreal if you can make it !  No roos running around here, but last week the police had to tranquilize a moose that had made it's way into the city ( though it's the first time I've ever heard of it happening in Montreal ! ) .  She was safely realeased back into the forest. No Marillion T-shirt on the animal. so it couldn't have been an early convention-goer.
Enjoy the DVD. Interior Lulu is really excellent.

"If My Heart Were A Ball..." really works well live. Brilliant tune.

I think their best live song is Ocean Cloud, I wish they'd play it more often...  Oh, also "The Invisible Man"

I've had just about my longest break from the band in my life, but Afraid of Sunlight is blasting out as I write. It's good to be back homeWink Can anyone think of a more incredible and clear opening to a track than Beautiful? Rothery's guitar on that few seconds is simply amazing.

Afraid Of Sunlight is such a stunning album. Neck and neck with Marbles as my second favorite, but tracks like "Beautiful" could very well pull it into the lead. Hogarth's vocals on that song is sublime.

I've got Size Matters on in the car's player. "Interior Lulu" Just drops my jaw.

Agreed, Afraid Of Sunlight has a lot of great moments. This morning I'm listening to a DL of Fish's "Communion" live album. Very nice and fairly mellow performance...great way to ease into the day.

As a result of this conversation, I had a need to listen to Afraid Of Sunlight. Stunning disc.

Steve, I saw Denise's video of your backyard on Facebook. Man alive, what a beautiful setting!
