I'll have to ask my Latvian sister-in-law to translate the lyrics for me.

Is the PA entry of the album wrong?
Is it called "Dark Side Of The Moon" or "The Dark Side Of The Moon". Edited by Zeph - October 25 2020 at 09:03 |

That's weird, and I had noticed that before but forgot to take action. I've always thought it was The Dark Side of the Moon and that's how others list it including PF's official site. For such a famous band and album, that's an odd mistake to be there and last even without the title on the cover. I looked back at archived snapshots from about a decade ago and it didn't have the "The" then either. I will correct it.

^ It's a bit of a grey (or Dark) area but I think it can be either interpretation: I have the album on CD and on the front cover it says "The Dark Side of the Moon", but on the spine of the CD cover and on the CD itself it simply says "Dark Side of the Moon", so I don't think there's any right or wrong way to list the album. I hope that helps.

^ I see, that would explain how it could last without the "The". Still I changed it to fit how most other sites I have seen, including Pink Floyds official site, lists it (as The Dark Side of the Moon). And fixed The Piper at the Gates of Dawn while I was at it. It had the The, but it is NOT The Pooper at the Gates of Yawn. (j/k)

I unironically like Britney Spears. When she first came onto the scene, I was a pre-teen girl, so obviously it appealed to me at that time. And you know, nostalgia and i'm a product of my time, so I would happily listen to Britney or the Spice Girls and then go listen to VDGG or Magma. It's all good in my book.

I used to like Culture Club, Dollar, Gary Glitter and the Bay City Rollers, but don't tell anyone.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to post any videos from The Wall album, for obvious reasons.

So you cannot express an opinion on the album, songs from the album, musicians without a video. You can do whatever you want, it seems I am in the wrong...

I like the music from The Wall, but The Wall movie is basically a Neo-Nazi propaganda film.

Bob Geldof plays the part of a neo-fascist cult leader in The Wall and this is what it says about the movie on Wikipedia..... "The film is best known for its imagery of mental isolation, drug use, war, fascism, dark or disturbing animated sequences, sexual situations, violence and gore." |

I haven't watched the film in its entirety because it's too disturbing, but I've seen all of the neo-fascist music videos that make up The Wall album. The only video I could post here is for "Another Brick in the Wall", but we've all seen that video anyway, so I won't bother.

I suspect good old English irony is lost on some people
Please don't listen to Randy Newman's 'Short People'

I've been trying to tell Cristi that for ages. He's right in these circumstances though - Roger Waters, support a Nazi film? Dunno what Paul's thinking.
Yeah, Randy Newman has many times been accused of Shortism. He doesn't need another accusation.
