Great E, Thanks for asking. Thumbs Up

He made his old man proud by going out and buying "Foxtrot" and "Nursery Cryme." Only 11 years old!

That's my boy. Cry

E, Great to see you on here.  It's weird, but I felt very honored that you fb'ed me when you were taking your leave.  I've enjoyed keeping in touch.

Henry was a hoot as well, Snow Dog too, a lot of people have gone on.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Jody (The Progtologist if I remember correctly).  I haven't seen him in ages.

Someone was asking about why people fade from PA.  I can say this, I took a break for about a year and a half myself, for me there was just a general disengagement from a lot of the things that I had enjoyed.  There was a lot of personal strife going on in my life and music in general just didn't have a lot of the same magic that it had had throughout the previous forty years of my life.  It was mostly related to things that had nothing to do with music, but still, sometimes the death of one passion can have an ancilary effect on your other passions.

I'm pretty sure I saw him in the Listening thread a couple of times within the past week.

^ Jody is absolutely still around (which is why I didn't mention him here)--  he largely posts in 'Read Any Good Books Lately?'

After starting this thread I started to realize that my memory has become so poor that I can't remember anyone else that I miss.  I know that I'm missing them but I can't recall who they are.

I always found Alitair's posts to be entertaining, that guy was very unique.

I miss The Truth, but I haven't seem him around here in a long time. That could be a symptom of the fact that I haven't been around as much lately though.

I'd add colorofmoney91 to the list but I have him on facebook so that one is covered

Does Epignosis still post here? I haven't seen him in a long time, but again, that could be a symptom of me not being around very much anymore.

A lot of time life just gets in the way and you drift off to do other things! This is the first time I have been on PA in quite a long time (though I have pointed a few people here in the time I have been away). It is good to see a lot of the old names still about.

That makes sense, I'm apparently checking all of the wrong threads.

I do miss SnowDog...we had some nice exchanges as well as PMs. Walter, not sure if I miss him...his posts always brought a chuckle to my day with his post 1989 stuff...

And Henry...his posts were well.....shocking to say the least.

Others mentioned I do miss too...

just wait till he finally meet ol' evil Uncle Micky...I'll have him appreciating the brilliance of Phil Collins and digging Misunderstanding and learning the secret truth that prog Genesis is the single greatest cure for insomnia prog rock has ever given us. LOL

Let him have an evening with me and my Osanna CD's... he'll never go back to Genesis again hahaha

Dude you have no idea. Last weekend I had him listening to Aranis and we watched the Discipline Live 1995 DVD. He is well on his way.
