i adore a good bad pun

Mark your calendars, cause the next Ozark Soundscape album is coming out this Thursday, June 20, 2013! It's called "Going to the Pet Store and Other Mundane Activities".
It's the most straight forward album I've done, I think, but it's still got that Ozark Soundscape fun and experimental edge to it. It's also probably the most solid release I've done. Aside from me messing up on a bar or two, I don't think there's a stinker in the lot (of course, my opinion always changes over time).

I'm of the opinion that plenty of craft went into Metal Machine Music. It's got multiple layers to the noise. Doesn't make it a great album or even a good album (though I appreciate it myself), but anyone who calls it accidental garbage is mistaken. It may have been pieced together from random garbage, but so is a lot of folk art. It's a neat album that's pretty hard to withstand.

I love that feel when I watch a movie, read a book, listen to music and write and it all feels so right. It's hard to explain.

It always amazes me that despite working out my hamstrings with weights once or twice a week every week that bending and squatting to pull weeds always seems to make them sore.

Oh by the way Scott, I've been checking out some real early Bob Seger albums.  Listened to the first three so far (Ramblin' Gamblin Man, Noah, and Mongrel) and it's quite the surprise.  I picked up a used copy of "Live Bullet" yesterday which is what piqued my interest in checking out some early albums.
