Most youtube comments I've seen have been laughable. Even worse than the "haters", though, are the defensive whiners who go on about how ignorant and narrow minded the haters are. Practically every video on youtube has exchanges like that.

I think I've seen that too. Classic stuff.
Incidentally, there's also a band out there called The Musical Box who not only looks like Genesis, but they recreate the entire stage show and set lists. They're touring with the Lamb show now, I might go see them in a couple of weeks. I saw them do the '73 setlist about 10-12 years ago. They've been at it a while. What a strange job to have for such a long time, pretending to be a band from 40 years ago.

Man if it weren't for Dave Grohl's fine drumming, Nirvana would have been a painfully mediocre band. The more I see and hear Kurt Cobain the more unimpressed I am with him. And I once considered myself a fan fo the group, kind of.
There's a concert airing on the Palladia channel right now, that's why I mentioned it.

Chad Channing really was a bad drummer, but I think they would've been at least almost as good, as with Grohl, with some of the brief replacements like Dan Peters. Bleach is a good album, especially the slower songs, but some Channing live recordings are quite horrible drumming-wise. Grohl definitely took them to another level from that, I love his playing and sound on In Utero especially.

For a long time I credited my lack of skill as a guitarist to getting stuck for a few years playing all my favourite Nirvana riffs over and over again. It was fun, but not very challenging. Nowadays I credit my lack of skill to general laziness.

I allways almost cries when i watch docus about prog when they are talking about the faith of Cobain, really sad, he was a good spirit, whit an uncanny tallent, like Grohl he had an uncanny ability to always hit the correct note, and had a perfect dynamical tallant

Houses of the Holy is one of my less favorite Zep albums. That's just relative, of course - they're all essential in my book (except maybe Coda, but at least half of that one is great too). But HOTH has "D'yer Mak'er" (which I dislike) and "Over the Hills" and "Ocean" (both of which I'm sick of, even though they're good songs). On the other hand, it has "No Quarter" which totally rules (and which Rare Goat plays, though not performed live yet. You need a special kind of situation for a song like that to work).
Physical Graffiti has my favorite Zep song "The Rover" on it, and many other favorites. And I'm with Doug as far as "Presence" goes -- probably my 2nd favorite album after "Graffiti".

I think right now my favorite Zep album is a tie between IV and HotH, but I've only listened to HotH twice, so it may surpass IV as I continue to listen to it. I'm gonna check out The early stuff tomorrow and Tuesday.
