I guess it kind of makes sense, nursing is probably one of the only majors with the same amount of driven people. |
U of A also has a huge rep as an engineering school. Probably a fair chunk of the science students (I know at least) are cases where the person didn't have high enough marks to make engineering. Cutoff was around 83% average; mine was only about 93% I think :O Nursing has nearly the exact opposite ratio of girls:guys, and the engineering students are the biggest alcoholics on campus so the nurses work well with that too

On noticing her arms were gone, an Engineer discoursed:

Haha, do engineering programs usually have higher requirements? I don't know because I ignored it at the time and now am totally bypassing it. I always thought of a pure math or physics major as more hardcore. The math majors certainly make fun of the engineers enough that it seems they think that's the case.
Also, I have no idea what you mean with those percentages.

We have a prog/metal club with almost 40 people in it  That's like, 0.1% of the school. First meeting is in like 10 days but there's a pizza fundraiser coming up in three days for a free metal concert.
