Yes, my favourite Genesis. | Perhaps mine as well...a toss up between that and Selling.

I'll add A Trick of the Tail to the fight for the top spot, or the second spot more accurately. Or even W&W, those three are pretty even after Lamb. I should listen to England again some day now that I feel I can take Gabriel's goofing around better. Perhaps some day I'll enjoy Epping Forest. That song and I Know What I Like are nasty stains on an otherwise brilliant album.

Oh no, poppy moments. Have to kill the entire album instead of just hitting skip.

Congratulations yet again
The first four tracks of Watershed are absolutely top notch, all of them I'd like to make fit into my top 10 Opeth songs list, but after that it's a bit weaker but still good. Strong four stars, might actually be my favourite Opeth album after the big three of Blackwater, Reveries and Still Life. |
Same here. 1. Still Life 2. Ghost Reveries 3. Blackwater Park 4. Watershed

Ahh, Blackwater Park, nothing like some world-ending, stomach churning riffs to start the day!

Nah. Opeth's easy-listening music. At least compared to some of the stuff I listen to. How's it going, Ben?

Now Wind and Wuthering...they should've entitled it Wind or Wuthering, so it's initials could be WoW.

Started a new piece today from some acoustic guitar "messing around" that took me in an unexpected direction.

Right on Robert! Finally someone who agrees with me about Trick! And you just convinced me to get Wind, one of the Gen titles I've heard the least. And LONG time ago.

Wind & Wuthering has great music overall...but let me tell you..."One for the Vine" is an all-out masterpiece.

My overall opinion of Genesis is very meh. Lamb and Selling are both good (and W&W has some good tunes) but I never saw a whole lot I liked in them otherwise save a few tracks here and there.

So a few days ago a coworker walked up to me and picked up some Mentos and she said "Mentos, the freshmaker! You're cute, you remind me of the Mentos kid in the eighties commercials...Oh that was probably before you were born" and she walked away laughing. I would guess she mid to late 20s, and I don't know what to make of it. On the one hand, this is the first time I can remember that a woman called me cute, but on the other hand...
And then yesterday somebody else said I was like Napoleon Dynamite. I could laugh this time: one time a customer said it to me and it made me really angry because that's such a f**king thoughtless thing to say. And then today a manager said I'm smarter than I look when I noticed that the schedule was stupid. I swear, these people...

I have to agree with that, More Fool Me is a waste of time, but the album is plenty long without it so who cares? I always liked Epping Forest, I don't know why it gets so much hate.

No, I've never been a big fan of ATotT either.
