Things being how they are, I'm not sure which one is more useful. One gives you an illusion to keep you entertained... The other one requires a set-top box.

Oh Pat. Couldn't you find a link with believing in a super powerful being that will punish you if you deviate and to whom you owe absolute allegiance just because you were born, and... believing in a super powerful being that will punish you if you deviate and to whom you owe absolute allegiance just because you were born?
There's the psychological link between religion and politics. Just change the name of the messiah.

I would. Voting brings me very little pleasure and counts for very little, while cable does more for me.
Mind you, I barely even watch TV, so like Stonebeard I'd assume you're talking internet access too.

This is great! I'm on the road to being the only one in the country that's eligible to vote!

I think you've hit on a great idea,Pat. If we can convince everyone except us Libertarians to give up the vote, we'll be in business!

Oh I see the link. That's exactly where my question comes from. Stoney echoed it too.

Oh so people know tomorrow at 10:00 EST Ron Paul's first hearing as the chair of the monetary policy subcommittee will be on CSPAN. It should be interesting.

His opening statement: "As chair of the monetary policy subcommittee, I believe we need to eliminate monetary policy."

You were pretty much spot on actually. Just replace the tinfoil with this stained black with dirt from playing horseshoes in it every other day in the summer.
