Yesterday:
Electric Orange - Vol 10 (Navajo prog at it’s finest. Bring out the peyote and colourful feathers for this one)
Premiata Forneria Marconi - Per Un Amico
Invisible - s/t (very nice South American pork…comes highly recommended to anyone into RPI)
Vespero - Shum-Shir
Scott Walker - 3
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - K.G.
Osanna - Palepoli (perhaps not the smartest choice before bed!)
Tangerine Dream - Green Desert (Yep..that was better)

As I recall it was on this very thread that I was encouraged to buy it. Glad I finally did!

Strange mix of stuff today (38 Special? Where did that idea come from?)

Joni Mitchell | Ladies of the Canyon
Brian Eno | Apollo
Sparks | No. 1 in Heaven
Swans | Deliquescence (live) — limited edition, signed by Gira
Magma | Concert 1971: Bruxelles — forgot how insane that intro to Stoah is!
Half Japanese | Music to Strip By
Sparks | Big Beat
Trap | Beyond the Status Quo — avant prog from Gary Parra, formerly of Cartoon. Cool album.
38 Special | Flashback — greatest hits!
Jerry Garcia | Garcia

Somewhat throwaway, Sam, and certainly didn’t need to be 58 minutes long, but…it’s easy to listen to and nicely played! Mix of electronica, ambient, New Age…I just reviewed it as well. I actually found it in a $2 bin of a local music store, so…definitely some of the best $2 I’ve ever spent!

OMG, `The Dragon’, yeeeeeessssss!!! Love it to bits….I always think of it as the closest Vangelis came to a Krautrock album. `Hypothesis’ is good too, a really manic and warped take on jazz-fusion! But really, can’t go wrong with either of those two

My picks the last few days, kind of all over the place:

Beggars Opera – Waters of Change (1971)
Rare Bird – As Your Mind Flies By (1970)
Jade Warrior – Last Autumn’s Dream (1972)
Miguel Abuelo & Nada – Et Nada (1975)
May Blitz – The 2nd of May (1971)
Il Castello di Atlante – L’Ippogrifo (1994)
Steve Roach – To the Threshold of Silence (Worlds End: disc 2) (1992)
Steve Roach – New Life Dreaming (2005)

Great to catch up here and see some familiars. ☺️

I have been addicted to the IQ Archive boxset lately. All 12 discs in all.

Today and yesterday

IQ— Remixed
IQ— The Road of Bonus ( I dig the first studio take of ‘From the outside In.” It is crunchier and way heavier.
Royal Hunt— Moving Target
Slipknot— Iowa
Iron Maiden— Senjutsu
IQ— Subterranean Heart (Blu ray audio)
Rush— Moving Pictures (DVD Audio)
Kraftwerk— Trans Europe express
David Bowie— Serious Moonlight.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
