Yesterday:
Ingranaggi della Valle - Warm Spaced Blue
Gong - Rejoice! I'm Dead
Brian Eno - The Ship
SBB - Karlstad
Magma - Kobaďa
Karuna Khyal - Alomoni 1985 (strangest album ever? Maybe)
Oranssi Pazuzu - Some unprenounceble gibberish in Finnish...but fantastic album nonetheless!

^Great list, David! Just over a month ago, I have attended an SBB gig here in Lublin and got to talk with Józef, the amazing keyboardist and bassist. He's also a great guy. How do you like Kobaia as to other Magma albums? On some days, I like it even more than Centigrades and MDK. However, all three have already been my #1 at one point or another and it changes everyday.

Some albums I've listened to over the past few days:
Vortex - Vortex (excellent Canterbury/Zeuhl-informed avant-fusion)
Bill Plummer and the Cosmic Brotherhood - Bill Plummer and the Cosmic Brotherhood (really funny album, odd mixture of Indian-style psychodelia a la early Traffic and hard-bop)

Guldbamsen, pretty good list indeed.
Love for Oranssi Pazuzu new album, it's REALLY good!
Alomoni 1985 it's a pretty strange album and inovative too!, if you like it, listen to Brast Burn - Debon, it's from the same label, and i think it's better than Alomoni

Hey Nick, hope you've been well, mate.

Is that Airbag one their latest? I ordered it as part of a large Syn-Phonic order that arrived two days ago, but I really never paid attention to what it was called!

Oh man, Kotobel! Did you ever hear this one:

Absolutely astonishing instrumental album, pretty much just as you described this one. Quite a bit of Anglagard in their sound. It also came with a beautiful `live in the studio' DVD.

^  Yes, I ordered six vinyl albums. I was already familiar with three of them and I previewed the others on YouTube before placing the order. This evening I received the email verification that the order had shipped.

Awesome, mate, do report back with what you got eventually!

Yes, I ordered 3 LP's and two CD's, and then not even two days later made another order for 3 more LP's! I probably should have ordered them in one go, I defintely doubled up a little on the shipping there I'm sure!

For a long car journey this week I loaded up the 6-CD auto-changer with:

CD1: Moments ~ the cacophony of light
CD2: Act V: Hymns with the Devil in Confessional ~ The Dear Hunter
CD3-5:  Radical Action (To Unseat The Hold of Monkey Mind) ~ King Crimson
CD6: Skeleton Tree ~ Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

By-crikey, (and by complete fluke) that lot worked well together, I think it will be a while before I'll bother changing them.
What?
