Nice plays there! I should give Brave another go. I remember loving the lyrics & concept but was a little bored by the music. But since getting my daughter (almost 16 now!) into The Lamb (Genesis) I’m going to hit her with more literate/literary concept albums - she loves musicals and texts with lots of deep symbolism. Maybe Brave will connect with her alienated teen side.

Re: Nascita. I think there might have been a CD available too but I may be wrong. Part of me wants that format because of all the bonus tracks, but in the end vinyl appeals to me more these days since I spend a lot more time at home, and vinyl is just a nicer format from a tactile perspective. If that makes sense.

working from home helps. I get to sit with my record collection all day long.

I like that Wings album too. Some great tunes on there, like Arrow Through Me, which sounds to me like a Stevie Wonder tribute.

Yep those early Faith No More albums are really nice. Again…one of those artists that sort of slipped me by at the time..then bought a few of their albums later on…forgot about them..and well I found a big box of cd’s the last time I visited my parents..and woe and behold! A cornucopia of long lost albums that I hadn’t listened to for years/decades
I seem to remember an old friend of mine who is hugely into all kinds of metal - calling their music ‘groove-metal’. I kinda like that tag..it sure does groove!
Me yesterday:
Delirium - Lo Scemo E Il Villaggio
Capitolo 6 - Frutti Per Kagua
Los Jaivas - s/t
John Maus - Screen Memories
Blur - Parklife
Autechre - Incunabula
Quarteto 1111 - Onde Quando Como Porque…
Pulsar - Strands Of The Future

David!! Sorry for the late reply my friend.
Listen I’m so glad you found that old stash of discs. :)
One day you’ll have to level with me and give me a rough estimate of how many digital doughnuts you own. Lol I remember one time you said you got to a point where you were storing CDs in your kitchen cupboards. ;)
Always laughed at that.
Anyhow nice spin in this list with that Incunabula. What a beauty. The Egg is just magic. ;)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
