Had myself a bit of a break from music after 3 weeks of non-stop tunes. That last week spent with a buddy of mine at the beach nicely rounded out a highly melodic vacation…yet coming back and starting work again I’ve found myself reaching for a book and a movie over an album.
Last night though I returned! Faith No More - Angel Dust Uriah Heep - The Magician’s Birthday PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me Depeche Mode - 101 (cd 1) Leftfield - Leftism Muse - Black Holes & Revelations ELO - Discovery Santana - lll |

Hi all!
I’ve been digging UFO’s Strangers in The Night live album. I managed to pick up the 8 CD boxset reissue and have downed just 2 of 8 discs so far (Damn kid lol) but from what I can say so far is that this album is truly a thing of beauty in rock music. Michael Schenker is one incredible guitarist and he was so young when he was with UFO. Joined the band at 17!! Talk about boy genius. Anyway fellas I recommend buying the set of you love this live album. |

^Hi Nick
Yep those early Faith No More albums are really nice. Again…one of those artists that sort of slipped me by at the time..then bought a few of their albums later on…forgot about them..and well I found a big box of cd’s the last time I visited my parents..and woe and behold! A cornucopia of long lost albums that I hadn’t listened to for years/decades I seem to remember an old friend of mine who is hugely into all kinds of metal - calling their music ‘groove-metal’. I kinda like that tag..it sure does groove! Me yesterday: Delirium - Lo Scemo E Il Villaggio Capitolo 6 - Frutti Per Kagua Los Jaivas - s/t John Maus - Screen Memories Blur - Parklife Autechre - Incunabula Quarteto 1111 - Onde Quando Como Porque… Pulsar - Strands Of The Future |

Ooh, one of my favorite “outer fringe” RPI albums, Nascita della Sfera, is back in print on vinyl! Ordered a copy today. Wondered when I’d finally get a physical copy.
