Pretty sweet playlist there my friend - especially digging those jazz albums...or well the Head Hunter one is just as much an adventure in funk.
DM4? Depeche Mode 4. Danish Musical 4. Dildo Mania 4. Dill Mafia 4. Djakarta Mischiefs 4. Drenched Meerkat 4.
Ether of those titles could work for Tangerine Dream though

I am listening to Talking Heads’ Speaking In Toungues right his minute. Die Wilde Jagd is up next.
Hi David, good to see you around. I've been rather absent here lately though.
Yeah, Head Hunters hasn't been on the shelf since I bought it, I never get tired of it.
I actually bought the Pharoah Sanders based on your appreciation for it.

Djakarta Mischiefs would make a great band name. I'd be curious to hear a TD album titled Dildo Mania LOL
It's Dream Mixes 4, always a good background listen with the occasional familiar sounds to keep it grounded.

This week so far:
La Coscienza di Zeno - La Notte Anche di Giorno
Samsara Blues Experiment - End of Forever
Terpandre - Terpandre
Vangelis - Rosetta
Museo Rosenbach - Zarathustra
Jorge Palma - No Lado Errado da Noite

Ooh, love the Voidz. “Virtue” is awesome too.

Yesterday & Today:
Klaus Schulze | La Vie Electronique 2
Level 42 | s/t
Stevie Ray Vaughan | Couldn’t Stand the Weather
Spirit | The Complete “Potatoland” (3 disc box set)
Can | Soundtracks
Spacemen 3 | Performance
Spacemen 3 | Perfect Prescription
Seaside Lovers | Memories of Beach House
Hart Newhouse | Finding Things (new release by Bret Hart and Dave Newhouse, showcasing what they call “hard ambient”, which in practice is pretty unsettling stuff)

Hey I’m in and out in much the same manner myself
Been celebrating Christmas with my parents and sister. It’s been so cozy and laidback - I really can’t describe it other than danish ‘hygge’
...and well I’ve spent most of the holiday away from the internet reading books with a cat on my lap/stomach/shoulder
Halfway through Watership Down - a book I’ve read at least 5 times before..and well it feels kinda funny reading about these courageous rabbits with their natural enemy overlooking the proceedings.

I love those early rawkous RPI albums like Zarathustra - in fact you spurred me on to giving it a whirl last night. Yum...in fact so much yum that I had to find some other albums of the sort - you know dirty swamp-like organs and zesty guitar riffs galore. So Zarathustra became Semiramis’ Dedicato a Frazz, Procession’s Frontiera, Il Balletto di Bronzo’s Ys, Osanna’s Palepoli and lastly Franco Battiato’s Pollution. Talk about getting back into RPI
Merry Christmas my friend

That sounds awesome, and I feel pretty old for thinking that LOL

Me too, I can go many months without listening to a single RPI album but then I'm constantly listening to the genre.

Still in 2020:
Betzler & Brückner - Triplet
Magnolia - Con Fuoco
Unreal City - La Crudeltà di Aprile
Tacita Intesa - Faro
Acqua Fragile - Acqua Fragile
Hostsonaten - Mirrorgames
Chromb! - Le Livre des Merveilles
Diabo a Sete - Figura de Gente
Michael Brückner - Footprints
PFM - L'Isola di Niente
Vangelis - Spiral

2021 so far:
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Mildlife - Automatic
Masayoshi Takanaka - An Insatiable High

And happy new year everyone, with lots of great music Beer
