I love Tormato and Drama, both fine albums.
I even think Circus of Heaven is good
My favorite Rush Albums are Hold Your Fire and Vapor Trails (people just don't understand Hold Your Fire, I dunno what the issue is? Probably Neil's best lyrics to date), although I think Test For Echo is a steaming pile (although I hear the fiftysomethings like it). Saying A Farewell to Kings is your favorite, however is not unusual - especially around here.
I think Thick as a Brick, Heavy Horses and Songs From the Wood are WAY better than Aqualung OR Stand Up and I even think Too Old To Rock & Roll is much better than it gets credit for.
I have also never met a person who thinks Frances is better than De-Loused. Maybe I just don't know the right people.
Foxtrot is the best Genesis album, btw...not that that statement is on topic, but whatever...

Van der Graaf Generator - Still Life. I also really enjoy Aerosol Grey Machine. King Crimson - Lizard (out of the KC I have, I don't have Islands, In The Wake of Poseidon, USA or Discipline) White Willow - Storm Season (only need Sacrament now)
Talking of Led Zeppelin's debut, why can I never find it in the shops? What tracks are actually on this?

I am at the stage in my life that I don't really care what other people say. However, I do take anybody's recommendation. As long as the music is what I like and enjoy, it is the best music to me, and it doesn't matter what everybody else say. I used to argue about things like this, but then after some thought, I decided that I am the one that is listening to the music, so "I" am the only one that should matter. If you look at my list, you will know the kind of debate/argument I had before :
Marillion: Fugazi
Arena: Songs From The Lion's Cage
Shadowlnad: Looking Through Glasses
Pallas: The Sentinel
These are the ones that a lot of people say either rip off or downright bad. But I love them.

Pink Floyd----The Divison Bell
Dream Theater----When Dream and Day Unite
Queen----Sheer Heart Attack
Jethro Tull----Broadsword and the Beast
All excellent albums that earn 5-star ratings in my book.

Yeah, it's a pretty awesome album. The bass tone is amazing.

I second those four motions times infinity. Especially the first. Oh man, all kinds of love for you for your appreciation of Ummagumma...

Actually, The Number Of The Beast is the album most people claim to be Maiden's best. I also don't see how liking KC's Red and Tull's Aqualung shows that you are in a minority.

My favorite Pink Floyd album is...(gasp).. RELICS!
Not kidding, there's something in that collection that I find mesmerizing and addictive,..and magic...
Maybe it's because Syd Barret's spirit is scattered all over the place and there's a lot of Rick Wright too. Through the years I've been listening so much Waters' and Gilmour's stuff that I needed a change. Relics did it for me, and I wish there were more material from those sesions available. (recommendations?)

I like Tormato, so shoot me! Every person in the world can't think the same.

Did you see the DVD of YES in PHILADELPHIA?. Circus of Heaven is the song with the best sound in the mix. It's magical...
I'm a big fan of Circus of heaven. i had a lot of fun translating it to my language. Man, how beautiful! How wish I was in that Circus of Heaven someday, watching the parade......BTW I love Circ du Solei, the closest thing on Earth....and their music sounds progressive for me...what do you think?

I like Rush's Test for Echo very much. Actually, I really don't understand why people don't like it.
