I'm frankly shocked the Bungles have gone on the streak they have, since they lost to the Steelers, and are currently in the playoff picture. I'll tell you this, though, if the Steelers end up getting beat out of the playoffs by that team withthat head coach then Tomlin should be run out of town on a rail.

To put it lightly, that was a f**king terrible, sloppy game. The Bungles
better find a way to shore up that O-line sometime within the next 10
days, or else they won't have a prayer against the Steelers.
And 6 sacks against Dalton too! You know if the Steelers get that many opportunities, the Bengals might as well give up on their playoff chances.

I think you're giving the Steelers D too much credit. At this point, they're banged up and showing their age and not nearly what they were over the past few seasons. They allowed the Norv-lead Chargers 34 points in last week's game at home, and the Bengals (I honestly believe) are a better team than the Chargers.

I say he's earned the chance to be their starter next year. There's not really much of an alternative anyway. There's definitely potential for this kid to be good (not great).

It's just too soon to say that though. A few games....he could be a SB winner, a bust, a solid QB. Why can't he be great? I know I never seem to take a firm stance on QBs but remember...Eli. It wasn't until well into 2008 I was "sold" on him. Josh Freeman really looked great in 2010, regressed last year, but now with Jackson and Martin is verging on the Pro Bowl in my book. These things take time. I'd say dump Vick, but we'll see. And I know it's pure rumor but all the talk is of Chip Kelly and his crazy ass Oregon offense. It'd set Vick back as a passer 15 years but he'd be a fit!

You can't set Vick back as a passer. He never was a good passer and never will be. He'd be best off using up what's left in his legs while someone is still willing to pay him for it.

Well that was exactly the point. I said 15 years because that'd put him back in HS You ever seen Oregon? It's honestly ludicrous. Hope he stays in college and never tries to bring that junk to the NFL but if he did...Vick would actually fit it.

The nerds at PFF actually rank their o line very highly. I think it may have just been the Eagles man. They always have rushed the QB well. Maybe not as well this year but they still have some beasts on the line.

Oh I don't doubt they have potential. And I think Andy and AJ have great chemistry and are going to be a great duo for years to come. I didn't learn this until a few weeks ago, but apparently by the time he was in first grade, Green was already a well experienced juggler. Which explains why he hardly ever bobbles or drops balls thrown directly at him. As cool as your hands could possibly be. Yeah, I'll give the Eagles D some credit on that one. They're definitely great at rushing and blitzing QBs. My main issue is that even on those rare occasions where we should beat the Steelers, we always find some way to lower our performance or ruin those expectations. And I never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to be rooting really hard for the Cowboys tomorrow. Same with the Broncos too.

Yeah IDK why trent cole hasn't been his usual...but he is monster, Brandon Graham was a freak in Michigan and has finally gotten his chance, with Jenkins and this Cox on the inside. That's a good d line!
Hey man, it's cliche I know but that's the weird knack some teams have. It doesn't matter wtf is happening with them, they just have some way of winning. It's probably some team chemistry/"true guts" thing and leadership (at the QB and management level). I'd say its why teams like the Pack, Stillers, Giants and sadly the Pats...are always around and the poster boys for success. Oh and the 49ers back in the day.

I totally get why man, but needless to say I'm pulling for the Steelers, as well as the Browns oh lord. Pretty nervous bout the Falcons. They should be very beatable but the G men have a habit of re-energizing teams And with our bad D re surfacing plus the Falcons being peeved from their loss to Carolina and the Giants spanking them last year. Oh I'm worried! I hope San Fran stomps on New England!

Btw MoM, if the Steelers don't make the playoffs this year, I will happily offer up a Marvin Lewis-Mike Tomlin trade between our teams.

A lot of defense have holes/issues but are masked by schemes or great pass rush. I admit, sadly, the Giants have become this...which is why we live or die by that pass rush. Without it the world sees our D is pretty porous Anyway, niners have a legit D. Can rush, cover, solid from the line to safeties. It's beautiful! Well, I am completely neutral on the Bengals. Can't say their results against the Steelers or Ravens mean anything to me haha

A great lineup of games this sunday. I hope at least 2/3 pan out to be as good in reality as they are on paper.

They have a very good Oline. Their RG/RT combo is the best in the league. The Eagles DLine was terrible for a long stretch this year, but they've played very well since releasing Babin and firing Washburn. I don't know why that is, but it is.

Nah, to say good but not great. Why can't he be great? Supposedly everyone was gaga over him in the organization. Yeah that's weird Pat

Credit to Asante Samuel, that was all him. Eyes on the QB, jumped the route and made a great pick. God damn it...
f**kin Tynes! 3rd game with a missed FG. He used to be automatic under 50 yards. Sonuvabitch

This Broncos-Ravens game is going to be good, although so far, it seems that the Broncos have the edge. Ravens are just too banged up on defense to be able to hold on all game against Manning and Flacco already turned the ball over.

Denver has a better defense and a quarterback who is miles better. Why wouldn't Denver win?
