That was posted in the Queen appreciation thread yesterday or whenever. I have never seen any films with him in it so I dunno.

Currently listening to Not Unlike The Waves, at this rate I'll be getting something from them very soon.

I was gonna get Ashes Against The Grain a few months ago because it was half price, but I listened to about 5 or so tracks and didn't like them at all.

BUT LO, I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT. I'm gonna stop motW for now and listen to me some Agalloch samplez.

Seen the light? More like seen the bleak darkness amirite?

For real, only found Agalloch like maybe 4 months ago but jumped quickly near the top of my favorite bands list. The Mantle is one of my top 5 metal albums.
f**king love it.

I honestly just thought it sounded really dull when I first heard them, absolutely loving it now, though.

Nah, I can understand it. My first listen I thought it was kind of cool but boring.
I remember telling my brother what type of metal band is this???

But yeah after another listen or two, The Mantle touched me deeply. Brilliant stuff.
Their other albums and some of the EP's are pretty good as well.

Henry Rollins has his own show and is playing a ton of Hendrix.
He is like a little kid with a new toy with every artist that he's into for the week.

Know someone that went to a Rollins show

Said it was a musical, comedian and story telling combo type show. Sounded intriguing at least.

Radio show or stand-up? I heard he's pretty much over playing music and just talks for his shows. He's pretty funny.

He's a radio DJ.
I need to update my  blog. I have written entries, I just haven't published them.
