I don't generalize. I've never done it. Every time you post you always accuse me of generalizing and you never have a good reason for doing so.

I've been told I'm a master of BS before. Is that the same?
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Now that we're all good, I suppose we should be talking about wacky weed.

I've been on the receiving end of those "generalization" remarks many many times so I guess I'm entitled to make a joke and see you people suffer

In the US:
This year 48,200 people have been arrested for possession of marijuana with 608 being incarcerated. This year $2,289,000,000 has been spent by Federal and State governments on the 'drug war'.

This is sustainable? This is a positive for society? In a time of deep depression this amount of money has been spent to harass people for the crime of mellowing out at a concert.

You hardly ever provide detail in your responses to anything (apart from quoting economic/political theory and its ramifications in the real world granted)

I suspect the devil is NOT in the detail, you just equate it with 'chinks in armour' (oriental knights? I'm blathering)Wink

It is wise for inefficient industries to seek government regulation so that their product is shielded from the far superior ones which can be produced on a free market.

The joke was that I made about five clearly false generalizations in that statement.Wink

Mmmmmmm Bop. Bop bop Bop.

Imagine how funny this would all be if there was legalization.

Now it's a little amusing.

This thread is silly.
We should just destroy weed altogether, using atomic explosive devices.

Should marijuana be legalized? Yes, certainly. The tax benefits and reduction in criminal enforcement expenses alone warrant its decriminalization.
