Ron Paul's work on the matter is nice, but it's more of a populist low-level explanation than anything else. A nice easy text while still being formal is Murray Rothbard's The Case Against the Fed. You can read it for free through the link. It goes through the Fed's function, its history, and reasons for eliminating it. That's obviously taking the stand against it. For something more pro, there's a largely influential work which deserves reading: Milton Friedman and Anna Schwartz's: A Monetary History of the United States 1867-1960.

You could read Bernanke's intro-macro economics textbook for a nice intro, and obviously pro, to banking and the Fed. I actually learned from Bernanke's textbook: Principles of Macroeconomics written in conjunction with Robert Frank.

I was hoping for something  legit though ideally not too difficult, so cool. Figured you of all would have some. I will probably pass on Paul then, for now.

Provolone is good for a nice change occaisonally. American or wiz to me really represents the true taste. I love the taste of wiz personally, but it offers a distinct advantage in cheese distribution. Uncareful steak makers can force the cheese to existing only in one particular region when you take cross sectional areas of the sandwich. Wiz allows easily for a completely uniform distribution. It's one of the particular advantages of it.

Like most things though, the roll really makes or breaks the sandwich. The cheese is usually the least important part for a cheesesteak.

Actually I did see something about that on Food Network. At least in one place, I forget the name but they used sharp cheddar and broccoli rabe and it looked pretty amazing.

Cheese is a fascist's favorite dish. It's obvious. Steak is more libertarian really. This discussion makes no gastronomical sense. End. The. Fed. Food.

I followed Babar's editorials in the paper for a while and indeed he did drift libertarian after he wasn't in office, but apparently he's lost his mind again.

Bob Barr was libertarian on the editorial pages after his last term but as a con gressman he wasn't.  So he's supporting an old bud.  That's all you need to know about that I think.
