Glad to see you've been enjoying that Anthony Phillips album lately. Thumbs Up

Then I'll put on Harmonium's classic, do you have that?

I have no Harmonium albums. Embarrassed What are they like?

If you like Trespass and The Geese & The Ghost for what they are, lovely acoustic prog albums with symphonic leanings, you can't miss this.

Saw them live last year. They were awesome (dying fetus opened for them, and they were excellent as well).

I assume you mean the Cannibal Corpse one...

It was only $3, so nothing was really lost there! LOL It's just a bit too extreme for me. There's no variation in the whole album, and I actually got pretty bored by the end. It wasn't really terrible, but it wasn't a good first listen either...

I'll probably have to take a few more listens to have a full opinion, though. Most music like that takes multiple listens to even partially appreciate. Thumbs Up I didn't like Death when I first heard them, but now they're one of my favorite bands.

I would enjoy seeing Dying Fetus MUCH more than Cannibal Corpse. I really don't like many Cannibal Corpse albums. They have a few songs that are death metal classics, but their albums are terribly inconsistent and repetitive.

Yesterday, I saw Bolt Thrower on stage. Another of those essential death metal acts, I would stongly recommend their album 'war master'. The show was great.
Rotting Christ opened for them, I dind't know this band at all but I felt in love with their music, kinda weird given that they alterned between purely traditional heavy metal songs and black metal songs.

I've heard of both of those acts, but don't have any albums. Thanks for the Bolt Thrower recommendation! I've been wanting to check them out for a while...

Are you at all a fan of Morbid Angel? I bought Heretic yesterday, but still haven't gotten around to listening to it. I've been loving this band lately!
