Bought this album back when it first came out, busted it out a few weeks ago after years of not listening to it (and losing it lol)and it still holds up well, despite my change in musical taste since then. It so reminds me of SoCal.

How can you be happy with only one Koenji album? Haven't listened to it before now?

LOL I know what you mean, they are really hyper. I cannot listen to two of their albums in a row or I'll overload.

I'm more of a fan of the percussionists, but everyone seems to rule on this album.

Yeah, indeed, it's a must if you're a fan of either McLaughlin or wild eastern/indian percussion. You got from the frenetic to the truly beautiful.
