I don't like it better but it's not a bad album.

@Cacho (oops!) The Quiet One...: copy of Deadwing? You mean the album where they tried to be Opeth? I have no idea where you think that the title tracks could sound a-like or that Anesthetize could sound anything like Arriving Somewhere But Not Here.

Incident took a while to grow on me and I don't consider it to be on par with the majority of their 90s works (a-la Up The Downstair, Sky Moves Sideways, ect) - but I think it's better than FoaBP.

For me PT tried to be Opeth in In Absentia, but what the hell do I know if I'm not even a big PT fan and much less of a Opeth fan?

I'm just saying, that at first FoaBP sounded mostly to something from Deadwing but worse.

EDIT: "@CACHO" LOL You must not reveal my real identity! Wink

For some reason it didn't even register - I always picture your face as the "Meddle" cover anyways.

Hug That's my "real" face, the avatar I intended to use allthrough my stay in PA, but you're one of the few who experienced my many change of avatars, but all had something in common... they were either faces from albums or something that looked like a face, not necessarily from a human (Meddle).

I still remember your Rush 'Three Stages' or whatever that album was that looked like a Toy and I never liked it, hahaha. Or was that Scott?

that was me. "Different Stages", then I got bored and inverted it, then I went with the By-Tor and Snow Dog illustration. Facebones has served me well for a while now

Yeah, the inversion I remember too. Not much the By-Tor and Snow Dog illustration, though if you show it to me now I'll sure remember as if it were my past dog.

Facebones, which I have no idea who is hehe, is the style of avatar I like, being a "face", but from what I know from you, it doesn't fit with your personality Wink

Isn't Meddle a picture of a monkey's anus? LOL

OK, it was supposed to be a monkey's anus... read here...

Storm Thorgerson originally suggested a close-up shot of a baboon's anus for the album cover photograph. He was over-ruled by the band, who informed him via an inter-continental telephone call while on tour in Japan that they would rather have "an ear underwater".[25] The cover image was photographed by Bob Dowling. The image represents an ear, underwater, collecting waves of sound (represented by ripples in the water).

Tongue I just knew it!!!

And yes, Adam & Eve is awesome. I absolutely have been loving that album lately. Up next:
