Hey Pablo, look what I bought yesterday...

Very good DVD, each performance is more exhilarating than the last, this thing sizzles~! :)

I can't wait to see her in November.

ShockedShockedShocked AWESOME! I've seen many parts of that DVD, or a similar concert, in YouTube and they're indeed incredible.

And wait... you're going to SEE HER PLAY?!?! With Sonicbloom or her recent trio of Stanley Clarke and Lenny White? How I wished more jazz/fusion bands came to Argentina.

However, in September McCoy Tyner is coming and I'm mostly like to go.Big smile

I would have liked to Sonicbloom or the trio, but it's going to be a solo concert...that's what the venue's website says anyway. Nevertheless, it's going to be awesommmmeeee. Cool

Ooooh, McCoy Tyner should be great, though I'm not familiar with his solo work. I do have a Coltrane album or two with him on it though.

Oh, solo, her latest was solo, right?  That should be an impressive concert, not sure how the style of her latest was though, so not sure if it's tranquil or not.

Anyway, I'm neither familiar with McCoy's solo stuff with the exception of one his releases, a great one by the way. But I absolutely adore his work with Coltrane, and I have 4 or 5 albums with him, so yeah, I know his playing from that.

Her playing on the latest album can be tranquil at times, but it still has the raw energy of her other works despite the absence of the other instruments, really good stuff.
