Wasn't it a lovely breeze
That swept the leaves of arbor eaves and bent to brush our blushing knees

It was that very line that caused me to jump up and say "I don't have to listen to this!" And all that sex talk from Colin was getting a little weird.

I thought so. It's great if it's a fifth grade love note, but it cracks me up to hear it on HoL.

Pretty much all the songs have a laugh/cringe moment for moment. And I don't care what people say about Oh No, this is a good song (it's from Season of Glass, which was recorded shortly after Lennon's death).
Unfortunately the rest of album sucks, except for Extension 33. Hooray for the library!

On another note, I just made the best pork chops and gravy ever.  And them my frickin wife takes the kids and leaves me to go to her mother's house and hang some picture frames.

Ouch Rob, that's some harsh reviewing.  For what it's worth, while I'm sure I would disagree about the quotient of music in Sebka Chott's new album, I usually find rapid genre-cutting bands boring as well. It's always forced, and they're almost always just cute little pastiches rather than any attempts to upend the genre.

Yes, I was wondering when someone would call me on that.

When I noticed the thing here now only let you see the last 25 reviews, I decided to start posting those reviews of albums I didn't like first until all the four and five star reviews were gone.  I have several four star plus reviews written, but I've refrained from posting them.

Okay, so that's only half the reason.

The other half is this: I've been criticized for giving out too many 5 star reviews, criticized for giving out too many 1 star reviews, criticized for giving out too many 4 star review, and recently, criticized for giving out too many 2 star reviews.

WTF

All albums must be 3 stars, except for CTTE, WYWH, TAAB, and ITCOTCK.

And incidentally, I also found myself being able to mentally complete much of the music on Hazards this time around, even though I only heard it once before and that was a week or two ago. But, unlike you, I find that, and getting songs stuck in my head, extremely annoying. You've mentioned a few times how if you find yourself humming a song later you'll bump up its rating, and I cannot see the inherent value in that.

Oh damn, Wayside used to have it but they're out now. I should have gotten it when I had the chance but I was lazy.

Pinot Grigio is not very manly, Rob.

I actually can appreciate that.

For me, music should be memorable (I try to refrain from saying "catchy," since I don't think most prog would be memorable to the typical music lover), but I certainly understand where you are coming from (and perhaps you can see why I try but cannot seem to enjoy most avant artists).
