a little over twenty. I only started my music collection a year ago, and because I have no income, I never buy more than two CDs at a time.
Who you gonna call?

somewhere between 40-50 (and 60-70 if I include all the cd's from my pop (10-12) and nu-metal (13-14) period, but I gave 'm all to my brother) and an immense wishlist. But as I'm only 18 I have the time :)

^ From small seeds mighty trees can grow.

I'd guess Over 100 vinyl LPs getting warped in my loft, but kept for sentimental value.

100s of CDs,

2,000 + tunes  in on MP3 thingy

All Prog, with the odd exception (bit of Clash, couple of Beatles, few Classical, Django Reinhart, etc)

"Original" and "CD" prerequisites aren't fair!!! I have many copy (pirated) CD's, and many "original" vinyls... not to mention the huge mp3 collection, which makes some friends drool

I haven't counted lately, but original CD's must be up to 40 something...

as for vinyl, I'm between 100 and 150 (depends if Turkish records are included or not)

btw, I have very good Turkish prog-folk-rock records from the '70's, that not one knows about! Whish I could upload some bands to progarchives...

Listen to Turkish psych/prog; you won't regret:
Baris Manco,Erkin Koray,Cem Karaca,Mogollar,3 Hürel,Selda,Edip Akbayram,Fikret Kizilok,Ersen (and Dadaslar) (but stick with the '70's, and 'early 80's!)

You aren't fair either. You're stealing the music from the artists and you're even proud of it.

I don't mind people who download stuff, but it's criminal to have just about 200 albums but thousands of mp3s.

haven't we all ...

I think it depends on the ratio of original CDs vs. mp3. With my 550 original CDs, I don't have a problem saying "I only download muic for evaluation, and if I like it, I buy it". But if someone has 50 CDs and for example 250 downloaded albums ... that's not for evaluation.

BTW: There's really no need to download mp3 files to discover interesting music ... www.last.fm has all you need.
