As I recall, I joined in December 2007, but didn't start posting until late 2008.

It took me a year to start posting lots as well, except a year later.

Me too. It's strange to think.

I haven't been going here for 7 years. I refuse to believe it.

No.

How did we make it 7 years without getting banned?

No idea, man. Party

And to think I made it 6+ years without that wonderful smiley... :0

I'm Class of 2006. I was extremely idiotic, had a greenish vampire avatar, was kind of trollish in my love of DT, and loved to make senseless polls.

I've had only a few avatars. Vampire, Dracula, pentagram, a couple more and now Hachi.

Utmost respect for those who pick an avatar and stick with it.  I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with the current one or return to my recurring customized cartoon avatar.  I find the avatar combined with the cat pic in the sig is pretty cool and it's art you won't encounter anywhere else.

Class 2009 - but not that active first few years.
I remember i was stunned that bands like Rush was here, i was thinking Prog and Heavy was not possible at the same time. Now i love bands like, The Mars Volta, Tool, Green Carnation, Anekdoten ect.
One think PA did to me, was broadening my taste in many new directions. Also some not prog.

Still find it a bit hard sometimes, to understand whats going on here, hope its just a language thing. Tongue
Prog is whatevey you want it to be. So dont diss other peoples prog, and they wont diss yours

It's convenient when you're searching for your own posts - if I didin't have Robin Trower on one side & my shed underneath, I'd never find my own posts & probably end up trolling myself

I've only been using this avatar for 3 years or so.  I had Robert Wyatt as my avatar for a while before that.  I've had others as well (I think I had the Magma logo), some I cannot remember but this one is here to stay and I don't plan to change it.

The kitty headphone avatar is pretty cool.  Worth sticking with. Rico's blinking eye is, too.  The Trower avatar still reminds of a slightly aroused penis. LOL

I still have some of the avatars I used before the Eye (thanks to Photobucket not shutting down despite turning useless after all these years).

lol

Cooler ones, tho:

But yeah, it is custom, sometimes by popular demand, that I stick to the Eye.
