I buy CDs, mostly... although I have caught myself downloading lately much more than I usually used to.

I try to download only. Amazon makes it so easy and I don't have to worry about shipping costs, or the cd itself, which just wastes space that I don't have and only adds to the clutter I do have. It's way easier to manage computer files than actual albums.

I strictly buy music in CD or vinyl form unless there's no feasible way of finding a hard copy somewhere.

If there's no copy I import the CD from sites like Wayside music so I still have the hard copy.

In the end of January, I bought... a 7'' from a French grindcore band.
Sometimes, I even consider buying some K7 from obscure experimental noise bands/artists that I can find at one of my favorite record stores... or some CD-R from some free-jazz musicians...
I'm not even snobbish, but I have hard times with mp3: I can't help burning mp3 on CD-R, I nearly can't "trust" the digital format!

CD-Rs degrade, so that's not a good plan, really.

They degrade... Yes, but not on the same speed - it depends on the model, from what I understood. After all, they don't degrade in ONE year. I still have CD-Rs from 2003 or 2004. Six or seven isn't not very long (especillay compared to the K7 I bought in 1992!), but I will... wait and see.

How I wish to have all my music collection in original cd's, but how or where the hell i'm going to find, for example, RPI albums here in my country? Is impossble

I will always buy physical regardless of the current media. Without liner notes, artwork, etc it's not an album for me.

Same here.  For me, an album is about not only the music, but the album cover and everything else.  The complete package.

Well I like owning things but Downloading is incredibly economically efficient.  Plus it allows me to download what I want, not the most recent excessively loud remasters only.

if i dont buy a physical copy, i almost never connect emotionally to an album. Sure I'll get into some songs, or even the whole thing, but it's just not the same. Memories that go with buying the record/receiving it/opening it up/that first listen/etc is not the same as just clicking a mouse a couple of times, then hitting play.

Option 2 and 3. I use Zune Marketplace, then I can burn to CD if need, but normally just plug in my device to the home system. Prefer vinyl as that is what I grew up on, plenty of record stores here in the Seattle/Tacoma area, sell both used and new vinyl.
Flipping thru record bins can soothe the savage beast.
