As much as I love Rush and they are my second favorite, on the Art-Rock side, I'm gonna have to go with Kansas. |

Of the above choices, RUSH, would be my choice. I own all their studio albums and Rush in Rio on DVD.

I would undoubtly vote for Rush (surprise, surprise), albeit most bands
displayed for choice aren't deemed to belong in the Art Rock genre, at
least from ProgArchives' perspective, which should detain a significant
authority beyond chaotic assertments, considering it harbours the
active poll. Despite of invariable opinions diverging from the site,
one should take a condescending sense of concern to knave the content
onto familliar frames, so as to at the least elude the sort of tumult
imminently instigated.

I don't really agree that Steve Hackett should be in this genre, but I guess he is.
And that's who I voted for.

With my nick and sig, who do you think I voted for? No prizes for guessing... BTW, besides Rush, I'd also mention Supertramp (aren't they in Prog-Related, though?), Kansas, Roxy Music and Roger Waters.

I think what I think of as art rock goes along with Ivan's definition.
