Sum up the week ????
Atoll, Saga, Iron Maiden best of the B-sides, Amon Duul II - Yeti, Big Sugar - 500 Lbs, Ange - seve qui peut, AC/DC Highway to Hell, Avril Lavigne & Hillary Duff (sometimes my daughter has control in the car), Los Lobos' latest, Sountrack of our Lives - last two albums.
But then there's only been an NHL playoff game every two days ....LOL

Sum Up of recent listenings:
Very mixed styles as usual.
Ive been going from metal, to Avant-prog to ISP, to rock to folk to some pop and back again.

EMMA MYLDENBERGER and their two albums Emma Myldenberger (a folk album) and Tour de Trance  (whichm as its name suggests, is indeed a good hypnotizing experience) are two mesmerizing albums, and the latter one is epsecially recommended.

Zypressen and their s/t album have been lurking in the cd player, sending their chamber music/Avant-prog music (some reminding of UZ, and some not....). I will be adding them soon to PA.

VIRGIN BLACK and their latest effort Requiem - Mezzo Forte are doing a good job as usual with this band. "Fans" will like it, I guess, I know I do.

LARVAL and their three albums Predator or Prey, Obedience and Surviving Death / Alive Why? deliver crude but efficient textures of rock.

Grayceon and their s/t is one of the best album I recently got. I'll add them as well to PA soon. Though, raw, this is great energetic and crunchy metal/rock with some delicate moments, male/female vocals with cello (w/o bass) which may bring to mind post metal, but this isn't as fierce and heavy as those bands and on the other hand there are some post-rock qualities to it and yet it doesn't really belong there as well.

The Hosemobile - What Can & Can't Go On is another band I recently bought their album and I want to add them as well (though not sure where yet). Guitar driven rock with some avantish moments and some other which are more post-rockish... all in all, effective layers of guitar riffs, interchanging tempos and themes and good playing.

There's actually much more, but due to lack of energy, I'll leave it at that.
Unless someone wants to know... (I doubt it...).

Have a good weekend, everyone!

Well this week, I guess my favourite artist would be Rush (as always)
Favourite Ablum: Fear of a Blank Planet
Favourite Song: Norra El Norra - Orphaned Land

Next saturday, I plan to start from Rush, and go all the way to Snakes & Arrows without stopping or switching to something else Shocked
