Well I don't like the distorted vocals on 21st century schizoid man. This is not always
a bad thing but here it hurts for me.

Off topic: I liked your review of Paradox Hotel very much, i agree with almost everything you said                   there.  Only ...I like Bavarian skies (with distorted vocals) very much.

I'll follow up your suggestion about "Back at he world of adventures" in this thread, it's together with "Rainmaker"  the only TFK album i haven't heard.

I actually prefer Aqualung to Thick as a Brick, which puts me in a tiny minority. They're both pretty good, though!

I prefer A Passion Play to Thick as a Brick any time. Both excellent albums, but A Passion Play is much better, IMO!

Thank you!  That album sounds fine to me.  It's not my favorite though.

One of my favourite Yes albums is Drama, very tight and upbeat.
Islands along with Starless & Bible Black are my favourite Crimson albums. I always listen to them back to back as if they were a double album.
A Gentle Giant album I really like more than many including the band themselves is Civilian.
Although I`m not a big Rush fan I listen to Signals from time to time. Ilike the way they toned down the complexities and was happy to see Geddy come down off the lower register.
I`ll also admit to liking ABACAB especially the title track. Reminds me of university for some reason.
Nobody really likes Grobschnitt after EROC left in the eighties but I love The Last Party Live album.

Regarding King Crimson - I love Discipline. But I'm sure I'm in the minority in that I also love Beat. Neal & Jack & Me, Waiting Man, and Satori In Tangier are some of my all time favorite KC tracks.

Oh, and at the risk of REALLY drawing fire, I definitely prefer Deloused In The Comatorium over Frances The Mute.

I like that one too.  Definitely some prog moments on there, well, especially with the Lady Lies.  In a lot of ways that album was better than what Yes was doing that year with Tormato.  More consistent, less cheesy, less pompous.  Though I like that album too.

Well there are some for me too:

I like Yes' Drama, Union and 90125 a lot! Drama and Union are almost in my top 5...I also like Tales from...

I like Saga A Beginner's guide to throwing shape and Worlds Apart.

I like ELP's In The Hot Seat (well the first two songs + the revisited Pictures)

I prefer King Crimson's Three of a perfect to In The Court...

I find Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon really boring.

Dream Theater's Train Of Thought is better for me than Metropolis Part 2

I stop here, people will want me dead otherwise!

    My Wrong Album List:
Jethro Tull: Underwraps (tongue in cheek, brilliant)
Jethro Tull: "A" (Electronic wizardry, and virtuoso bass)
Beatles: Hard Day's Night (No clunkers in this baby)
Rush: Test for Echo: (Perfectly balanced and executed)
Moody Blues: Question of Balance (Inspired through out)
Van Morrison: Hymns to the Silence (He puts it all in here)
Jimi Hendrix: Axis Bold As Love (In peak musical form)
Steve Ray Vaughn: In Step (Steve's on a roll here)
Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin I (Impossibly brilliant!)
Eric Clapton: Just One Night (At his very best)
Styx: Cornerstone (Grows on you like good health)

    Whew! Thanks, I needed that!

The first album by Yes is one of my favourite Yes albums, after Going For The One and Tales From Topographic Oceans.

Genesis' And Then There Were Three is one of my top favourite albums, as well as Duke and Three Sides Live.

Pendragon: Kow Tow is among my favourite albums.

Vangelis: I don't think he did anything better than his first album with Jon Anderson (okay, maybe some Aphrodite's Child tracks)

And you do agree with me that Grand Hotel is the best Procol Harum album, eh?

And Bruford did peak on Gradually Going Tornado, right?

Jethro Tull's finest hour is no doubt Stand Up.

And I do think my pick would be Still Life for best VdGG album.

    Okay, that'll do
