I don't care much for either, but I vote for Ian Paice because he plays some stuff that a drum machine couldn't do.

Paice is better... Bonham was just stronger...

I voted Bonham.
I like Paice very much (as Palmer, Brufford, White, Thompson, Collins and of course Keith Moon).
 
Both are one of the greatest drummer of the rock history but when you SEE "Mody Dick" versus "The Mule" for instance, I believe that his incredible ability makes Bonham a better drummer.
 
I saw Bonham in December 1975 (in Brussels). Paice : five times.
Always a great experience. Both.

I vote for Paice here.  He has more subtleties to his playing and is a better technician on drums than Bonham was.  Sure, Bonham's power is only rivaled by that of skin basher Keith Moon, but I find both to be 'all over the place'.
 
Enjoy both styles though, but Paice I prefer.
