One Step Ahead

One of my nieces is down from the north at the moment and she is off to see Mumford and sons tonight. We all have our tastes and why not. Anyway I commented about the Banjo and inquired if the sound was Bluegrass. She did not know what Bluegrass wasShocked  Problem solved with this album Thumbs Up

Now back to the grind Rawks

Emotions by The Pretty Things. Suprised this Brit pop classic doesn't get recognized in it's genre more often. Everyone just prefers S.F. Sorrow more. Unhappy

Puttering around my collection on the computer listening to one of my new ones:

Song: Can't Let Go

"...There’s a very old mirror that I like to look into
It always shows me the old familiar face I loathe so well
And when I look back, it looks back too oh –
Oh you’ll never know how hard it is to let go

Do you understand this, cause I don’t
The very thing that saved me will kill me – that’s all
And everyone will shake their heads and say, “how sad”

That I couldn’t let go
Of my old place
I couldn't let go
Of my old face
Of my old things
I can’t let go..."
