Unless the leak is an unmastered copy (which sometimes happens with the very first leaks of something) and is under 192 Kbps I seriously doubt you'll hear a difference in sound quality.
So I say, CAVE IN AND DOWNLOAD THE LEAK.
Cos I probably will lol.

^Eh, if you're somewhat of an audiophile you will. mp3s at 192 kbps don't sound nearly as good as CDs.

I've never actually heard Do Make Say Think until now. I've definitely been missing out, it's really great stuff.

So I'm coming in a little late on this one again, but I finally got to listen to the new Russian Circles, and at least on a first listen it is indeed much better than Station.  I might grow to like it as much as Enter.  I especially like the bass sound on this one, and I've always felt the bassist was the best part of their band.

Also, I don't know if I've brought them up before or if they've been discussed here already, but has anyone heard Helms Alee
They're absolutely spectacular grungy, crunchy math rock that's actually song-based and not instrumental doodling.  The dude from These Arms are Snakes is in the band (though I don't really like them).

I didn't realize so many of you didn't like Station that much. I like it just about as much as Enter.

It's just really musically boring compared to Enter.  They have the same sound, they just don't do anything creative with it.  Just my humble opinion of course, I've been growing increasingly bored with instrumental stuff.

Ha funny considering the most recent bass player for Russian circles is in These arms are snakes as well. Song based math rock sounds nice for a change, I'll have to check them out.

Anyone listen to the new latitudes? It's hella good! With some phenominal dynamcs and guest vocalists.

Wow, for as good as their members' other bands are, These Arms Are Snakes should be way better.

I still think they're a little uninteresting overall, but I love the use of vocals on the new album.

Yeah, TBH the songs with the vocalist are the best. Antechamber is f*cking excellent!

Chris/Moati: I actually like Stations, it's probably a 3.5/5 for me, so pretty good, but I reckon the new album is about a 4.5 though.
I actually really like These Snakes Are Arms, they have this "We just f**king go for it" feel about their sound, but that could be just me.

I prefer the sound of Enter to that of Station, but overall I'd rate Enter about **** and Station ****½. I just like the tracks a bit more, the title track and Youngblood being my favorites from them.

If you guys haven't heard of this band check out Ancestors:

Excellent mix of post metal, doom and stoner.Their first album "Neptune With Fire" was good but their newest "Of Sound Mind" is absolutely superb.

Hope to add these guys to the DB soon if they get cleared.

New Jesu album anyone?

Just a single, 50-minute track.  I like it better than the last couple offerings, I think because there's a good deal of variation, but still nothing compared to the first album or Silver EP.
