I have an album by a band called Chinawhite.  Might they be influenced by the Scorpions?

Funny, I just Googled "China White" to see what it meant.  I had a vague idea it had something to do with heroin, and indeed it does.  There was also a comic character with that name.  So it's likely the band Chinawhite got it from one of those sources and not the Scorpions.  Which is weird, because the Scorpions are the source of all light and knowledge.

There used to be a Canadian Scorpions cover band called China White. My friend was their sound engineer for a while. Found the band members to be morons.

Hendrix did a tour with Blue Cheer opening for him. He also opened for the Monkees on a tour.
Don't know what he thought of the Monkees, but Hendrix hated Blue Cheer, as did a lot of people, despite the fact that they were in the top 20 at the time.

I like Hendrix, but not as much as some people.  The meat of his actual albums was very very strong.  But I don't quite get the fanatics' devotion to everything he recorded.

It would've been amazing if Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page were in a band together. They would be the Jimmies or something like that and they'd play the best blues ever

New Thumpermonkey album is pretty good stuff so far.

http://thumpermonkey.bandcamp.com/album/sleep-furiously

They're in Crossover, if anyone is interested.  Most likely going to be in my top 10 for the year, not saying much since I still haven't yet heard that many 2012 albums. LOL
