If I were a participant, I would have so bet a bunch of money against Andy (no offense Andy).

Why don't you take a shot at Dunkirk?  Wink

You and your opponent can wager unique items against each other.  Big smile

Ranged weapons are disposable.  One use only ever.  Then you have to buy more.

If you want a refund, I can do that for you.

Oooh, I have 2 TPs? I'll put +1 Attack and +3 to Constitution.

and I'll purchase Jordrok, leaving me with 2 gold. The former knight of King Winter, methinks. (Kung Bore).

Is Andy Webb the only valiant soul to volunteer for the Octavarium?

Seven more are needed.  Think of what you could do with eighty gold!

I challenge SHEAVY using JORDROK and two weapons #1 Flail, #2 Stone of Years, Panacea, and Splint.

Note this is Jordrok, not Dunkirk.

question here; throwing axes may be used even though a spear is a two-handed weapon?

There is no "hand" restriction to ranged weapons.  You throw one before you draw your main weapon(s).  It's similar to the Roman tactic of tossing pila before melee engagement (and they had shields and swords).

Well.

Buy my Gamma Knife and I'll accept with Apercu using Claymore. I assume this is in the proclamation?

By the way, an Octavarium match will operate in a bracket style tournament (the only way I can reasonably manage it), but no rejuvenation will occur between rounds- it is a constant battle.

If you have a cache of weapons and armor, it may be worth your while to pledge your name to the Octavarium list, and buy a few extra warriors.  If you lose, your selected warrior may yet live and you get a training point.  If you lose and the warrior dies, then you are out some gold- that is all.  And you can always place warriors up for sale.

Think about it.  Evil Smile

I would if people didn't have such more powerful warriors than the two I currently have.

I would but I don't have enough gold. Not to mention I wouldn't really use it ever. And yea, proclamation sounds good.

I don't mind if you decline. I didn't quite realize how much more powerful all my goodies make me.

Ah. Yes, didn't look to see how much gold you had. Well then I ACCEPT.
