Haven't been here in a bit and I'd love to drop in and say 'hi' to everyone here and hope all is well.
Have a Saturday morning to myself.

Fates Warning-- No Exit ( 25th Ann Ed. )
Zombi-- Shape Shift
Iron Maiden-- X Factor ( this is moving up the latter more and more each year for favorite maiden albums. Audio Engineering is insanely good as well. Even better than Metallica's Black album. )
Pet Shop Boys-- Behaviour ( OP 1990)
Ghost-- ceremonies and Devotion (live 2017)
Genesis-- Invisable touch ( OP 1986)
Devin Townsend-- Transendence ( what a great album!)

...more to come. I've got the day and my system can take it! :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Oh, see, I totally knew I was going to screw up that surname, seems like I wasn't too close either!  There was a clip of that Thorsten album on Youtube (think it might have been taken down), but I'm all confused. It ran for about 55 minutes, my CD ripped to 66 minutes, there's a shorter vinyl version that removes several tracks (grrrrr), and there's a digital download version that adds four more tracks!

Funny about `Carnival in Babylon', that's an Amon Duul album I can never remember a second of until I play it!

Is `Trespass' warming on you at all?

Rush - Fly By Night
I realized I forgot to reply to your post Embarrassed

I hope we don't have to add that album to the database. What a mess LOL

I forgot every second of it when I finished it. It's good but really not memorable.

Yeah, I heard the 5.1 DTS mix from the 2007 boxset, and unlike my vinyl copy, it all sounds cristal clear and much easier to enjoy.

What did you think of Fly By Night? I really enjoy that one, not really Prog but it's a great Hard Rock album.

This weekend:
The Orb - Orbus Terrarum
Bruford - One of a Kind
Klaus Schulze - Kontinuum (The compression on this CD is much more unenjoyable than the vinyl's surface noise.)

You know I'm not much of a Rush fan, but I do think it's OK. I don't like the second track `Best I Can' very much because it reminds me so much of AC/DC , but most of the rest is fine. Is it blasphemous to say that I enjoy the more poppier and littler moments on it like the title track and `Rivendell' far more than `By-Tor and the Snowdog'?!

Is that Orb album warming to you at all? It's pretty difficult going a lot of the time!

Yeah, that's probably the most forgettable track on it. I agree, although I enjoy By-Tor as well, the strenght of the album is on the shorter tunes. I especially like "In the End" Thumbs Up

I realized it's music for the subconscious. I can read or rest and follow the music easily, which I did.

Yesterday:
La Dottrina degli Opposti - Arrivederci Sogni
Loosense - Doze (I waited long for this album but it was worth it.)
Lena d'Água - Sempre
MGMT - Little Dark Age
Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare

^LOL No. I just have always found it quite boring song, not even funny. Same humour as in Spinal Tap songs. But Spinal Tap songs I laugh, because I know they weren´t real band at the first place.
