That, in my most subjective opinion, is indeed your best work yet. The BSWD is at the heart of the scene, the Christmas tree centre background establishing the joy of the occasion, and the BSWD is clearly enjoying gorging on something that had at one point been on the table. But was it turkey, was it beef, was it Wal*Mart veggieburgers? The artist asks the question: where is the BSWD's family? are they waiting their turn at table? But, wait, are they anywhere in view... or are they, no, it cannot be so. Surely, not even the BSWD could.... at Christmas
No, the answer must be that the BSWD has no family and is just slaughtering those not related to him, which is quite acceptable, of course. In Atlantis.

^ I'm sorry, but right now I'm much too busy to do one. I might consider it if someone gave me a lot of money though.

A true artists lives on a cold attic, eating crusts of bread. He despises money: too bourgeois.

^ But a good artist knows that he paints better if he has a nice greasy hamburger every once in a while.

Where have the days gone when artists were still naive?
To quote some prog lyrics from Traffic (The Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys);
"And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he made on your dreams"
Not anymore.

I dunno what the art worldŽs coming to - Vompatti turns out a Christmas masterpiece at my behest and says it will be his one and only work this Navidad.
Surely such genius could stretch to one measly little PA Christmas Card?

I happen to be extremely busy writing an essay in which I compare two Finnish translations of "Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night" and another essay in which I examine the spatial obstacles of backwards time travel, which means that there's simply no time for me to do a Christmas card unless I get a lot of money by noon tomorrow delivered to me in small unmarked bills.

IŽll give you a crumpled five Euro note and a few cents mixed with stale tobacco but youŽll have to call collect. Is that okay?

Why can't you just send the note and the rest of the stuff in an envelope?

Okay deal. On its way to Atlantis as we speak (that constitutes a contract - best get cracking on the PA Christmas card - Dylan Thomas can wait )
