Guys, guys, lets quit fighting and think about how great Miles Davis's Get Up With It is!

It's not fighting, it is a difference of opinion. An argument is where you say "You suck if you listen to that", that is what the other parts of the forum are for. I think we all agree that Miles is the best by miles.

Aerosmith aren't boring though. The music moves along at a nice fine pace. However, I will say that Aerosmith are a band that I have to be in the mood for, since Steven Tyler's voice has always been hit or miss with me.

I was originally going to write Led Zeppelin, but decided I better not cause a ruckus.

Agreed. No fighting on my part. I'm not familiar with that particular Miles Davis song. I'm still a n00b when it comes to Miles, but I definintely have to be in a jazz mood in order to listen to him.

I guess it didn't occur to me because I kinda agree. It's OK though, my taste in music is mine, I don't feel the need to impose it on anybody. It's nice to be exposed to different tastes, that is why I like PA.

Hey Matt, have you heard Jakob, a post-rock band similar to GY!BE? They might suit you, provided you are not put off by long, ambient sondscapes.

^ I wish people would just end the conversation at so-and-so is boring and not have a bunch of people try to back them up

I haven't even heard of Jakob, I'll give it a try. Also, seafood + me = happy.

The fact that post-rock bands sound alike stops me from fully exploring the genre, I am happy that I found the gems that I did, maybe I will try exploring more soon.
