You underestimate my fandom of Beardfish
|
Ah, that I do. I quite enjoy them myself, but they too will be getting a short set. Certainly it will be a good show; I loved it last year, even though BTBAM got a mere 30 minutes, but I still think at this point the other two shows are going to be better, and less expensive too, right?

I've never heard beardfish, but plan on listening to them... when I get the motivation to start caring to listen to them.
I agree see Isis. That was a helluva show!

thoughts on Sunn O))). . . not too sure. i like drone/sludge stuff but an entire album of sunn O))) is really taxing. i love their collabs but im not too sure about them yet, though recently ive been gettin ginto alot of other stuff that ive been having a hard time finding time to listen to all the music i have.
anyone else have this problem? i cant give a band a decent enough listening time to actually get into them or understand them. very disappointing, i think im going to stop downloading/buying new stuff untill i catch up on what i have.
How many gigs of music you guys packing into your computer? im working on 50 or so i think. . .

I have about 80 GBs of music that I'm listening too (all mp3s ripped @ 320 kbps), and another 80 in a kind of archive folder. But my collection is increasing rapidly again, and I too am running into that kind of problem. I can't give ever great band the time they deserve. I was finally trimming my collection but then I re-discovered music I used to love and discovered all new music as my tastes have evolved and expanded. It's a shame, really, and it shouldn't be. But I'm not going to stop getting more music, even if it's sitting on my shelf for a while, because I'm a deal hunter.

For real. I only have 45, (mainly because of plenty lossless) and i can't seem to find the time to listen to nearly enough that i'd like to. (even though i probably spend a few hours a day listening to music.

It's like a bad addiction. You keep getting all this new music, but only give each album one or two spins before you move on to the next, and unless the music is exceptionally good, you rarely take anyhthing from those few listens. At least.. thats my problem.

So They only played three songs... But they happened to be my favorites. I will lay my bones..., Ahrimaic Trance, Vastness and Sorrow. Still the set was over an hour long, and the only light was red, blue, and candles. I literally felt like I was in hell!

Igor what did you think of Minsk' newest? I'm listening to it right now. While the first two songs are pretty awesome, the third track is annoying me pretty bad right now. I also got Manatees newest, and will check that out soon. |
Better late than never I love it, despite they've abandoned their path to more heaviness. It sounds like doom-metal DOORS on mescaline (only two closing tracks are somewhat old MINSK), but I'm getting to like it more and more anyway.
How do you like ALTAR OF PLAGUES, btw? Aren't they amazing
