Every Bethesda game so far has dreadful graphics. They don't even know what people look like.
I've probably said that here before. |

Now playing:
Phantasy Star Online 2 (just began 27-hour maintenance) Mass Effect series (going back now that EC is out) Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga Dragon Age Legends (in bits and pieces... sure, it's free, but it's not so great) |

This made my day. Pyro's are BADA**. I use him all the time in TF2; a bit cheap though. Was this video recent? I don't remember Valve ever having a "Meet The" video of the Pyro till now. |

Plus, the character customizations have always sucked. You could barely change the face in Oblivion without looking like a goof. Yeah, even Fallout 3's visuals were really sketchy, but there was so much detail in that game, you can't really blame Todd Howard and Co. for sh***y frame rates. They try their best. |

that video is new today, along with a pretty big update (which ruined our scheduled 6v6 competitive match, but next week is a bye so we are playing then instead)
Funny thing, everybody gets pyrovision goggles that turn the game into pastel colours and make people laugh when they get shot Edited by Triceratopsoil - June 27 2012 at 23:39 |

My son just got this and it's not bad,not great either.I always dig sniping in shooters and a game dedicated to it should be right up my alley but I found the graphics to be a bit bland and I am just tired of games set in WW2.A sniper game set in the modern era would be so much better.

Went ahead and got Grimrock from the Steam sale. $6. Built a team of 1 minotaur fighter, 1 lizardman rogue, 1 human mage, and 1 insectoid mage.
Mmm, dungeons. |

Some of you guys may be interested in this, this is a video of a game I have been developing with a friend over the past few months. We are hoping for a release date in the next couple of months:

So far I've picked up Bastion, Dear Esther, and Saints Row The Third at the Steam Summer Sale. Also bought Grimrock for my brother.

Dead Space 1 was pretty good. I probably won't get around to this one for months and months, though

Thief is a great series. Such a pleasant break from the balls to the wall fast and furious gunfest most FPS's are. They are great games to play while engaging in some mood management.
In the last deacede I was a huge TFC addict. I even took time off work for some afternoon matches. Are there any major differences in TF2?

Yeah, TF2 is pretty different.
The first thing most people will say is "no grenades." The movement is a lot less "advanced," as well. Classes are essentially the same, though. For 6v6 the limits are 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, one of any other class. The most common (best) team would be 2 soldiers, 2 scouts, medic and a demoman. I play pocket soldier, the one stuck up the medic's bum. Anyway, we swept them. Easy fast win. Finally having all of our starters for a game helped a lot.
