Rob would like this, it's some very tasteful indie-folk, actually indie-country would be better I think is there such a genre? Tongue Anyway, I checked them because I read they're a side-project of The Decemberists, but I don't know if there really is a connection.

I don't have that one... I'm pretty sure the Phideaux I have is Number 7 which is alright IMO. How does this compare?

Doomsday Afternoon is phenomenal.  Five stars.

I thought Number 7 was good, but bland and not nearly as memorable.

Thanks. I feel kinda the same way about Number 7, so maybe I need to delve into some other Phideaux albums.

Thanks. I feel kinda the same way about Number 7, so maybe I need to delve into some other Phideaux albums.
