Derek Sherinian's Blood of the Snake
Rush's Snakes and Arrows
Whitesnake's Snakebite
Andy Summers' Charming Snakes
I think that you can figure out where I went with that.

Nice list. I was considering Dear Hunter and TFF. Hadn't thought of MiRthkon, I listened to it on Saturday. Might be a good idea though. I'm sticking it on. And also it's about time I relistened to that Koenj album. So i'll stick that on as well.

You're going to Australia, right?
You'll need some AC/DC, call it a culture warm-up.

I'm so glad my player can hold my whole collection. The last long flight I was to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I don't think I picked titles specifically for the trip though, just mostly whatever was new to me at the time. I used to have the worst time trying to pick out CDs to pull out and put in a case to carry along.
![]() This might be good as well, but I am just giving it a first listen: ![]() Edited by Slartibartfast - October 11 2011 at 18:31 |

Actually, perhaps it's the relative quietness that helped me sleep? Good point. I could definitely hear the engine when I started listening, for sure. I thought it would soothe me because I get agitated with not being able to move around much (who doesn't I suppose
