Mmm, I love a low, groovy baritone sax line.

No love for tenor? Dude, Coltrane with a tenor is the epitome of jazz.

I've gone for alto, I love sax but don't know anything about them, but I wished I could play one. I think Raf Ravenscroft used alto sax on Baker St? that's why i've gone for alto I might be wrong here.

I took Alto a couple years ago, then quit but I'm sure that if I'd heard Van Der Graff Generator then, then I would'nt have quit.

Ditto that.

And also because the people who played alto sax in high school were douches and the ones playing tenor were pricks. Wink

I love the Tenor as well, but I think I prefer his work on the soprano.

I really hate the saxophone in Another Day. It's so cheesy and cliche it's practically smooth jazz.

I don't mind that song on the whole, but you're not wrong.

My answer is swung (no pun intended) by a jazz night i recently went to, in which there was a breakdown into just drums and a baritone sax absolutely burning in a version of Giant Steps. My favourite sax
